About StickItLab
StickItLab is a fully self-conceived and self-developed e-commerce platform for custom sticker printing. The concept is simple but powerful: users upload their own artwork as a PNG, choose their desired size (from 1cm x 1cm to A4), and receive professional stickers printed on premium matte paper with precision kiss-cut technology.
The platform stands out through its combination of ease of use, speed and quality. With 24-hour processing, same-day shipping on orders before 15:00, and next-day delivery in the Netherlands and Belgium, StickItLab offers a service that was previously only available to business clients.
A unique aspect is its "All Content Welcome" policy - the platform is NSFW-friendly (within legal limits), so artists and creators who are turned away elsewhere can also find a home here.
Biggest Challenge
The biggest challenge in this project was developing a robust upload and order system that is both user-friendly and technically solid. Users had to be able to easily upload PNG files, store them in a personal gallery, and reorder them later - all within a secure account environment.
In addition, the ordering process had to integrate seamlessly with the fulfilment workflow: automated order processing, real-time stock and shipping status updates, and a dashboard for order management. The system had to be scalable to handle growth, while the hosting remained entirely self-managed for maximum control and cost savings.
The technical architecture combines WooCommerce for e-commerce functionality with custom-developed components for the upload system and the user gallery, resulting in a platform that does exactly what it needs to do - no more, no less.

Result & Impact
The end result is a fully functioning e-commerce platform that fills a gap in the market. StickItLab offers individuals and small creators the same premium sticker quality that was previously only available for large print runs. The self-hosted nature ensures full control over costs, data and further development. From first idea to working product - this project demonstrates the ability to realise a complete business concept digitally.
